5 K-Pop Idols Depart Both Their Group and Agency After Contract Expiration
BAE173 has bid farewell to five of its members, as Yoojun, Muzin, Junseo, Youngseo, and Bit have officially left both the group and their agency, PocketDol Studio.
PocketDol Studio confirmed on July 14 that the exclusive contracts of BAE173 members Yoojun, Muzin, Junseo, Youngseo, and Bit had come to an end, expiring as of June 30, 2026, marking a quiet but significant shift for the group’s lineup.
In an official statement, the agency said, “Hello, this is PocketDol Studio. The exclusive contracts of our artists, BAE173 members Yoojun, Muzin, Junseo, Youngseo, and Bit, expired on June 30, 2026.”
The agency went on to explain the decision behind the parting, adding, “After thorough discussion, out of respect for the members’ wishes to take on new challenges, we have decided that each of them will continue on with their own individual activities following the end of their contract term.”
PocketDol Studio closed its message with a note of appreciation for the group’s fans, saying, “We sincerely thank all of you who have shown BAE173 members Yoojun, Muzin, Junseo, Youngseo, and Bit such generous love and support all this time. Thank you.”
The departures mark yet another shake-up for BAE173, whose lineup has undergone several changes since their 2020 debut, with member Hangyul having already parted ways with the agency earlier this year following the expiration of his own contract in February.
