Husband Of Famous Korean Announcer Passes Away At 52 Years Old

Lawyer Baek Sung Moon, the husband of YTN announcer Kim Sun Young, has passed away.

According to his family, Baek Sung Moon passed away at 2:08 a.m. on October 31 at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital after battling cancer. He was 52 years old.

Born in Seoul, the late Baek graduated from Kyunggi High School and Korea University’s College of Law. He passed the 49th bar exam in 2007 and began practicing as a lawyer in 2010.

He became well known to the public as a regular panelist on general programming channels such as MBN’s News Fighter, JTBC’s Scandal Supervisor, YTN, and Yonhap News TV. He also hosted a YouTube political talk show.

Baek and announcer Kim Sun Young first met as a guest and host on a broadcast program, developed a romantic relationship, and married in 2019. Sadly, after six years of marriage, Kim has bid farewell to her husband.
