Beloved Kpop Girl Group Disbands 4 Years Into Their Debut

The group cignature is disbanding four years since their debut.

On December 3, C9 Entertainment revealed the shocking news via an official statement. It stated that the group activities ended as of November 30.

C9 Entertainment also apologized to fans for the sudden announcement and asked for their warm support as the members embark on new endeavors.

cignature debuted in 2020 with their single album Nun Nu Nan Na and went on to release five mini-albums and two single albums. Their latest album, Sweety But Salty, released in June, marked their final work as a group. The members recently performed at Waterbomb and gained attention, with member Jiwon achieving individual popularity through appearances on platforms like No Filter Tak Jaehoon.

We would like to inform you regarding our artist cignature.
Through mutual discussions with the members, it was concluded that the disbandment of the team is necessary.
Accordingly, as of November 30, 2024, we have terminated the exclusive contracts of all seven cignature members, regardless of the remaining contract periods, and the group’s activities have also come to an end.
We deeply thank the cignature members for their unwavering dedication despite numerous challenges.
Additionally, we sincerely apologize to the fans for delivering such sudden news. We kindly ask for your warm support for the members as they begin new journeys in various fields.
