BIGBANG Reunite As A Trio To Perform At The 2024 Mama Awards Leaving Even The Celebrities In Awe

Junior artists and actors were left in awe during BIGBANG’s full-group performance.

On November 23, the 2024 MAMA Awards Japan took place at Kyocera Dome Osaka, where G-Dragon made a long-awaited return to the event after nine years, delivering a solo comeback performance.

Before his stage, host Kim Tae Ri teased the audience, saying, “I’ve been waiting for this performance too. Are you all ready to be captivated?” G-Dragon began with his 2017 release Untitled, 2014, dramatically appearing from below the stage and receiving thunderous cheers. He then showcased his new track Home Sweet Home, released just the day prior.

Adding to the excitement, Taeyang and Daesung joined G-Dragon on stage, bringing BIGBANG together as a trio. Fans and fellow artists, including members of SEVENTEEN, ZEROBASEONE, aespa, and more, stood and cheered enthusiastically, visibly enjoying the electrifying atmosphere.

The encore saw BIGBANG returning in different outfits to perform their iconic hits Bang Bang Bang and Fantastic Baby. Fans and artists alike immersed themselves in the energy of the performance, showcasing BIGBANG’s undeniable charisma and stage presence.

This marked the first time in nine years that BIGBANG officially performed as a group at the MAMA Awards. Previously, the three members had made a surprise appearance at Taeyang’s solo concert in September. The event has sparked anticipation for future BIGBANG group activities and comebacks.
