Famous Idol Opens Her Personal Agency After Leaving SM After 25 Years
Singer BoA (40), who left SM Entertainment at the end of last year after 25 years with the agency, has established her own company, BApal Entertainment.
On the 3rd of March, BApal Entertainment stated, “BoA chose a new structure in order to more clearly realize her musical direction,” explaining the background behind her independent move.
BApal Entertainment is an agency personally founded by BoA. The name combines “BoA” and “pal” (friend), meaning “BoA and friends,” and reflects the company’s vision of being built together by BoA and her fans.
BoA’s side said, “The precious memories and valuable experiences accumulated over a long period of activities are the most important assets that shaped the strong artist BoA of today,” adding, “Based on what we have learned so far, we will further strengthen the musical substance and depth of her work.”
