Contestant On The New Mnet Show “Boys II Planet” Accused Of Poor Attitude Towards Trainees And Staff Members, Mnet Issues Initial Response

Mnet’s “BOYS II PLANET” has been hit with a controversy surrounding contestant A’s character from the very first broadcast day.

Recently, a post exposing trainee A’s alleged misconduct was uploaded to an online community, just ahead of the trainee’s appearance on “Boys 2 Planet.”

According to the post, A, who was previously a trainee at B Entertainment, allegedly acted rudely and dismissively toward certain staff members, using the company’s favoritism as a shield. The author also claimed that A repeatedly made personal attacks and harsh remarks toward fellow trainees, which led to some trainees choosing to leave the company voluntarily and paying penalties to terminate their contracts.

The post further alleged that if a trainee didn’t greet A first when passing by, A would call out all the trainees and harass them. During group choreography practice, A was said to insult and critique other trainees, forcing them to repeat the same moves for one to two hours without air conditioning, subjecting them to harsh treatment.

To support these claims, the author shared psychiatric treatment records, insurance claims, and text conversations with their parents.

In response, the “Boys 2 Planet” production team stated, “We are aware of the seriousness of this matter and are currently verifying the facts regarding the allegations raised through social media.”

They added, “We are working to confirm the details by speaking not only with the individual mentioned in the post but also with people who worked at B Entertainment at the time and other related individuals. Separately, we are also carefully reviewing whether there are any legal implications.”
