Jisoo, a member of BLACKPINK, is reportedly set to make her comeback soon!

According to an exclusive report by OSEN on the 10th of January, Jisoo is preparing for her comeback with a target of February. When asked about the details, Jisoo’s representatives stated, “We are unable to confirm at this time,” keeping their response reserved.

If it happened, this solo comeback will be Jisoo’s first in about two years since the release of her first single album, ME, in 2023. During her promotions with the title track “Flower,” Jisoo sparked a phenomenon with the “Flower Challenge” and received immense love, winning nine trophies on music shows and proving her popularity.

As the last BLACKPINK member to release a solo project, anticipation for Jisoo’s comeback is especially high. Previously, Jennie released her solo single Mantra in October of last year, Lisa dropped her single Rockstar in June, and Rosé released her first full-length album rosie on December 6.

Before her solo comeback, Jisoo will greet fans as an actress. She is set to star as “Youngjoo” in the Coupang Play series Newtopia, which premieres on February 7. The show depicts the journey of late-enlisting soldier Jaeyoon (Park Jung Min) and spirited military girlfriend Youngjoo as they navigate zombie-infested Seoul to reunite. Directed by Yoon Sung Hyun, known for Bleak Night and Time to Hunt, the series promises a blend of zombie action and romantic comedy in a uniquely Korean “zom-com.”

This marks Jisoo’s return to acting after about three years, following her lead role as Eun Youngro in JTBC’s Snowdrop.
