BTS Issues An Apology Over 1 Hour Delay To Busan’s Concert, What Happened?
BTS Apologizes After Busan Concert Delayed by Approximately 1 Hour and 15 Minutes!
On June 12, the “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUSAN” concert was held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium in Yeonje District, Busan. The concert was originally scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM but instead started at 8:15 PM, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes later than planned.
Regarding the delay, BTS’s side posted an apology through the fan community platform Weverse, stating, “We sincerely apologize to all audience members for the significant inconvenience caused by the delay in the start of the performance.”
They continued, “We prepared as thoroughly as possible to provide a meaningful experience for everyone and to ensure there were no shortcomings in operations. However, confusion regarding on-site guidance, bottlenecks in the queue for fan gift distribution, and delays in merchandise collection combined to cause the start of the main performance to be delayed.”
They added, “We once again sincerely apologize for the great disappointment and inconvenience caused to audience members who waited for a long time before being able to watch the concert.”
The agency also promised, “For the performance taking place the following day, we will thoroughly review and improve all aspects of on-site operations, including entry procedures and gift distribution, to prevent the same congestion issues from occurring.”
