BTS Jin Confirmed To Serve As A Torchbearer For The ‘2024 Paris Olympics’

BTS’s Jin will serve as a torchbearer for the ‘2024 Paris Olympics’!

On the 3rd of July, their agency Big Hit Music announced that BTS‘s Jin will participate as a torchbearer for the ‘2024 Paris Summer Olympics’ torch relay on July 27th. Although the specific schedule has not been revealed, Jin is expected to participate in the torch relay to spread the message of ‘harmony’ and ‘peace’.

BTS, to which Jin belongs, is known as the ’21st-century pop icon’ and has made a significant impact on the music industry. As a well-established global artist, BTS has demonstrated positive influence through two speeches at the UN General Assembly and their ‘LOVE MYSELF’ campaign with UNICEF Korea since 2017.

Meanwhile, the ‘2024 Paris Summer Olympics’ torch relay started in Olympia, Greece in April and will move through 64 regions including the city center and beaches of France until the day of the event. Jin and other torchbearers will visit significant locations symbolizing the host country.
