Protest Trucks Sent To HYBE Regarding BTS’s Jungkook Dating Rumors, Demanding He Removes His “Couple Tattoo”
Some fans have held a truck protest regarding BTS’s Jungkook dating rumors.
On the 10th of December, a portion of Jungkook’s fandom sent protest trucks to the front of HYBE’s headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul.
These fans displayed messages on the truck’s LED screen such as, “Are you in your right mind deceiving fans and harming the group?”, “If you’re not going to erase the couple tattoo, step away from BTS activities,” and “What you gave back to ARMY who waited for you during military service is fan deception,” expressing their strong dissatisfaction.
This appears to stem from Jungkook recently being caught up in dating rumors with aespa’s Winter, along with supposed pieces of evidence supporting the rumor, which have caused growing resentment among some fans.

The dating rumors spread mainly through online communities. Netizens alleged that Jungkook and Winter have the same design of three puppy face tattoos on their arms, similar nail art on their ring fingers, overlapping couple-like items, and more. Jungkook attending an aespa concert and Winter calling Jungkook by his real name during a live broadcast were also captured.
The piling alleged evidence sparked massive interest among fans and many have been asking HYBE to issue a response to the rumors. Earlier today, SM released a statement to announce their plans to sue malicious comments about Winter, however, SM did not mention the dating rumors directly. Many interpreted SM’s statement today as a response to the heavy backlash Winter has been getting due to the dating rumors.
The rumors started on the 5th of December and neither Jungkook’s nor Winter’s agencies have released any statements yet. The agencies silence has triggered a lot of backlash from both idols’ fans as they demand they put an end to the rumors with a response.
Do you think the protest trucks were necessary?
