Rumors Of BTS Participating In Michael Jackson’s Tribute Project Spread, Big Hit Issues Response
After rumors of BTS being among the artists participating in a tribute project honoring Michael Jackson, Big Hit music has issued a response!
On August 3, a popular social media account dedicated for Michael Jackson spread the rumor that BTS is among several artists honoring Michael Jackson by recording a track on a forthcoming tribute album featuring unreleased songs Michael Jackson worked on during his time in Ireland.
However, it appears the rumors are false. In a statement released on August 5, Big Hit said, “BTS has neither visited Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland nor taken part in any recording sessions at the location for the mentioned project. The group is not involved in the tribute album in any capacity.”
