Hello, this is BigHit Music.
We would like to inform you about BTS member RM’s participation in the performance for ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG (BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG)’ scheduled for March 21.
RM injured his ankle during rehearsal on March 19 and was taken to the hospital for a detailed examination and treatment. He was diagnosed with an accessory navicular sprain, partial ligament tear, and talus contusion (ligament damage and inflammation), and medical staff advised that he must minimize movement and focus on recovery for at least two weeks with a leg cast.
Although the artist had a strong desire to deliver a high-quality performance at the symbolic location of Gwanghwamun, we have decided, in accordance with medical advice and to prevent further aggravation of the injury, to minimize RM’s movement during ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG.’
Accordingly, RM’s choreography and some stage performances will be limited.
We sincerely ask for your understanding regarding the disappointment caused to fans and audience members who have been waiting for this stage.
Although there are limitations to the performance, RM will participate within possible limits to connect with ARMY and the audience. As many have waited a long time for this stage, we will do our best to present a heartfelt performance.
We will prioritize the artist’s health and safety and fully support RM so he can recover and return in full condition.
The BTS members are also preparing diligently for the performance, so we ask for your continued support and interest.
Thank you.

Wishing RM a speedy recovery!
