BTS’s Jungkook Fanboys Over BIGBANG, Raves About G-Dragon’s Newest Singles As Well

BTS member Jungkook recently expressed his admiration for his senior group BIGBANG during a live broadcast, showcasing his longtime fandom.

On December 18, Jungkook hosted a live broadcast on Weverse titled “I Missed You All So Much.” Currently on leave from his military service, Jungkook interacted with fans for about 2 hours and 24 minutes, from 11:39 PM to 2:03 AM. The broadcast attracted over 20 million viewers, once again highlighting his unmatched popularity.

During the live session, Jungkook took song requests from fans. Upon noticing a comment requesting G-Dragon’s new song Home Sweet Home, he shared, “ARMYs who’ve known me since I was young know that I was a die-hard fan of BIGBANG. I’m so happy they made a comeback this time. When POWER and Home Sweet Home were released, I tried singing along to them in the military, and I definitely got goosebumps.”

He went on to sing G-Dragon’s Niliria and Who You?. Jungkook reminisced, “For guys my age, it was a rule to imitate BIGBANG’s songs when singing in karaoke. I really loved Niliria,” and added confidently, “I probably know almost all of BIGBANG’s songs.”

Jungkook enlisted in the military on December 12 last year and is currently serving as a Corporal in the 5th Infantry Division. He is scheduled to be discharged on June 11 next year.
