Former Kpop Idol Collapses In Her House, Revealed To Have Suffered From Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Former CLC member Elkie has shocked fans by revealing she was diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning.
Recently, the former idol took to her Instagram to share photos from the hospital where she is currently receiving treatment. Elkie says she felt a bit dizzy and had a headache, then she started bumping into things. She then collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.
She said, “Yesterday morning, I woke up with a terrible headache and felt a bit dizzy
I thought I’d just go to the bathroom and then take some medicine, But suddenly, my vision went white. I started bumping into things and collapsed. After being taken to the hospital by ambulance and examined, I found out I had carbon monoxide poisoning.”
She added that the suspected cause is carbon monoxide poisoning, but since it has no smell, she didn’t know it was even leaking. She added, “After I was taken to the hospital, they found my carboxyhemoglobin level had reached 20%. (Normal levels are said to be around 1–1.5%). So my condition was considered mild to moderate poisoning. After hospitalization and hyperbaric oxygen treatment, My condition is now stable.
Just wanted to let everyone know I’m okay. Thank you so much to all the friends who helped me.”

She closed her statement with, “This was such a close call. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful. But I really hope none of you have to go through this. Being safe is not something to take for granted. Please protect yourselves well, And remind the people around you too.”
Born in 1998, Elike joined CLC in 2016 and debuted in the industry. In 2021, she left both Cube and her group.
Wishing her a speedy recovery!
