CLC’s Kwon Eun Bin Personally Confirms Her Plans To Retire From The Entertainment Industry At 26 Years Old, Why?
Girl group CLC member Kwon Eun Bin has announced her retirement from the entertainment industry.
On the morning of the 16th of June, Kwon Eun Bin shared a lengthy post on her social media account to make the announcement. She wrote, “During my approximately 10 years in the entertainment industry, the overwhelming love and support from fans made every moment happy, and I am sincerely grateful,” adding, “As time passed during my long career that began in my teens, I naturally spent more and more time thinking about my past, present, and future. After a long period of reflection, I decided to live the life of an ordinary person.”
Kwon Eun Bin revealed that she spent most of her time feeling emptiness and anxiety about the present and future rather than love and passion for her work. She confessed, “Without making efforts to overcome and grow from those negative emotions and periods, I spent regrettable years simply avoiding and trying to relieve them.”
She continued, “I felt great regret about my foolish past self and the time I spent that way. Now, I have decided to leave all those negative times and emotions behind and spend my time pursuing a better and happier future,” emphasizing, “These days, I am spending my time filled with new and happy emotions more than ever before.”
Kwon Eun Bin stated that she plans to conclude all entertainment industry activities after completing CLC’s previously scheduled overseas group activities.
Born in 2000, Kwon Eun Bin appeared on Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101” before joining Cube Entertainment girl group CLC as a new member in 2016. CLC officially disbanded on May 20, 2022, after which Kwon Eun Bin continued her career as an actress, appearing in works such as “Bad Papa,” “How to Be Thirty,” “Hierarchy,” and “Duty After School.” News later emerged on May 22 that she would be leaving Cube Entertainment following the expiration of her contract.
