Former Member Of HOT ISSUE, Dain, Reveals Her Girlfriend Chaerin

Former HOT ISSUE member Dain has revealed her girlfriend.

Dain recently shared the news through her Instagram Stories, posting several photos with her girlfriend, dancer and choreographer Chaerin. The photos quickly spread across social media, with fans and netizens on platforms like X and Reddit reacting with excitement and sending the couple supportive messages.

Dain debuted in April 2021 as a member of HOT ISSUE, a seven-member girl group under S2 Entertainment that also included Mayna, Nahyun, Hyeongshin, Dana, Yewon, and Yebin. The group, whose name stood for “Honest, Outstanding, and Terrific,” debuted with the EP “Issue Maker” and its lead single “Gratata,” followed by a second single album, “Icons,” in September 2021. HOT ISSUE disbanded in April 2022, about a year after their debut. Since then, Dain has continued to be active in entertainment, including involvement with the projects Time Turner and CAP-TEEN.

Dain’s announcement comes amid a broader trend of more K-pop idols and former idols openly sharing their identities and relationships, despite South Korea’s traditionally conservative attitudes toward sexuality.
