Former MOMOLAND member Daisy has shared a new video where she reveals 3 lies kpop companies usually tell fans!
In a recent video released to her SNS, Daisy shared three lies kpop companies tell. The first lie is: When idols have to sign hundreds or thousands of albums, staff members sign for them instead, the 2nd lie is: While some hiatuses or injuries are real, they are often just cover-ups for plastic surgery, and the 3rd lie is: To make live AR sound more realistic, idols jump around in the recording studio while recording it.
About the 2nd point, she said: “In my hiatus meeting, they told me that the article that’s coming out is going to say that you are on hiatus because of health issues, and that literally sent me over the edge. I told them that if they’re going to put out the article like that, I’m gonna tell the entire world that it’s a big fat lie. So as a result, my article just said that it was for personal reasons. (..) Same goes for injuries. The official statement may say like a fractured arm or leg, and the idol would show in a cast, crutches, but sometimes they’re completely fine, and they just got a new set of titties.”
Daisy also revealed more about the AR lie, she said, “It’s a very common practice on music shows, so it’s not shady if someone uses it. Sometimes it’s not really the artist’s choice, these music shows are live broadcasted, so there are a lot of precautions that come to running the show and how it’s operated. A lot of time there’s just a physical lack of resoucres for everyone to be singing live. So if the broadcasting channel tells you to go up on stage with your in ear plugged to AR, you go up. Also if someone sounds really good live, it’s not always AR, they could just be really good at singing live.”
