DAY6 Revealed To Have Renewed Contract With JYP For The 2nd Time
DAY6 who have released their new full-length album “The DECADE” today, have renewed their contracts with JYP.
This marks their fourth studio album and comes approximately 5 years and 11 months after their third full-length album “The Book of Us: Entropy,” which was released on October 22, 2019. The title of the new album was derived from the English word signifying “ten years.”
On the afternoon of September 4, DAY6 unveiled an additional teaser for the music video of their new track “INSIDE OUT” through their official SNS channels, receiving an enthusiastic response from My Day (the fandom). The teaser highlighted the group’s intensity with its striking melody and straightforward lyrics such as “Let’s go, Okay It’s Love me Love me, lock me inside you quickly, save me quickly,” heightening anticipation for the full music video.
“The DECADE” includes a total of 10 tracks, featuring the title track “Dream Bus” and “INSIDE OUT,” along with “Don’t Let the Sun Rise,” “Disco Day,” “My Way,” “In Front of the Stars,” “Take All My Heart,” “Fly! Dream Rider,” “It’s Finally Coming to an End,” and “Our Season.”
As DAY6 approaches their 10th debut anniversary on September 7, 2025, the group revealed they renewed their contract with JYP Entertainment once again. Based on their long-standing trust, JYP Entertainment has pledged its full support and encouragement for Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon, as well as for the fans who support them, to ensure an even brighter future.
DAY6 had renewed their contracts with JYP for the 1st time back in 2022 after spending 7 years together.
