DAY6’s Dowoon Involved In Dating And Marriage Rumors, JYP’s Response Gains Massive Backlash

DAY6 member Dowoon’s side has directly addressed the recent dating rumors.

On May 26, a representative from JYP Entertainment told Xports News regarding the dating rumors involving Dowoon and Yoo Jiyu, “We have no official statement.”

Recently, suspicions that the two are dating spread across online communities and social media.

The rumors grew after Yoo Jiyu’s pet dog was reportedly spotted riding in Dowoon’s car. Netizens also claimed to have found matching couple items and keyrings inside their homes, which they alleged were evidence of a relationship.

The speculation intensified further after alleged eyewitness accounts claiming the two had met with a wedding planner began circulating online.

Meanwhile, Dowoon, born in 1995, debuted as a member of DAY6 in 2015 and serves as the group’s drummer.

Yoo Jiyu, born in 1996, is active as a content creator through her YouTube channel. She is also known as the younger sister of popular YouTuber Yoo Hye Joo, who has around 1.1 million subscribers.
