Two Famous NCT Members Surprise With Military Enlistment Plans Back To Back
NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo will be fulfilling their mandatory military service.
On October 30, SM Entertainment released an official statement saying, “NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo will begin fulfilling their military duties this December.”
According to the agency, Doyoung will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the army on December 8, while Jungwoo, who has been accepted into the army band, will also enlist on the same day.
SM Entertainment stated, “There will be no separate event on the day of enlistment. As it is a place shared with many soldiers and their families, we ask fans to refrain from visiting the site for safety reasons.”
They added, “Please continue to show your unwavering love and support so that Doyoung and Jungwoo can faithfully fulfill their duties and return in good health.”
Previously, within NCT, Taeyong enlisted in the navy band in April last year, and Jaehyun began his service in the army band in November of the same year. Doyoung and Jungwoo will be the third and fourth members of the group to fulfill their military duty.
