ENHYPEN Members Share Personal Statement With Fans Following Heeseung’s Departure
After the sudden departure of Heeseung from ENHYPEN, many fans have taken to social media to express their anger and sadness.
On March 10, ENHYPEN’s agency shared the idol’s departure from the group. The agency explained, “HEESEUNG has his own distinct musical vision and we have decided to respect it.” The news came as a huge shock to fans because it was so unexpected. Many fans were stunned by the news that seemed to have come out of left field, leaving many trying to piece together what happened in the lead-up to the sudden announcement.
Because of this, fans began trending various hashtags on Twitter/X demanding a better explanation from the agency, many kept repeating that ENHYPEN is seven, and this sudden departure was unacceptable. Some even started a petition online calling for the return of Heeseung to the group.
Later on the same day of the announcement, the members of ENHYPEN took to Twitter/X to say this to fans,
We think ENGENE must have been very surprised after seeing today’s notice.
The first thing weworried about was how ENGENE would think.
As ENHYPEN always exists for ENGENE, seeing ENGENE worry and feel hurt is the biggest pain for us.
The time we have spent together until now has been so precious that it cannot be expressed in words.
That is why we respect and support the choice and new start of Heeseung hyung, who has been with us during that time.
To lessen ENGENE’s worries even a little and to make happy everyday days for ENGENE, we ENHYPEN will continue to grow even more in the future.
For our precious ENGENE who always support and cheer for us anywhere, we will become a more solid ENHYPEN and will not forget to be thankful every moment so that we can always be proud and confident ENHYPEN.
