Famous 1st Gen Idol Is Getting Remarried 13 Years After His First Divorce

Eun Ji Won from SECHSKIES and television personality is getting remarried.

Eun Ji Won’s agency, YG Entertainment, told Star News on June 12, “Eun Ji Won recently took his wedding photos and plans to hold a quiet ceremony with close family and friends later this year.”

Eun Ji Won previously married his first love in 2010, but the two amicably divorced after two years. Now, 13 years after his divorce, he has found new love and will be remarrying.

He has openly expressed his desire to remarry in the past. On Dolsingles 4 (MBN), he stated, “I do want to remarry. I’m not someone who wants to stay single forever.” More recently, on Mr. House Husband (KBS 2TV), he commented, “If I keep living like this, I might actually end up dying alone. Someone needs to be there to call 911 if I collapse.”

SECHSKIES member Jang Su Won also mentioned Eun Ji Won’s change of heart during a YouTube video, saying, “Hyung’s mindset has changed. He used to say he would live alone no matter what, but as he’s gotten older, he’s changed.” To which Eun Ji Won replied, “It changed a lot because of you. I saw how different Su Won was when he was dating and after he got married.”

Eun Ji Won debuted in 1997 as a member of SECHSKIES and has since enjoyed a successful career as both a solo artist and a television personality.
