Popular Girl Group Member Shockingly Reveals They Havent Received Any Money For The Past 6 Years Of Hard Work
Girl group EVERGLOW member Wang Yiren shocked fans by revealing that she has “never received a single payment in six years.”
On the 18th of March, Wang Yiren communicated with fans through the platform Bubble, saying, “I really love performing on stage, but my income is zero. However, I don’t want to quit this job.”
She continued, “I have been a worker with zero wages since my debut. That’s okay. At least I can see FOREVER (the fandom) and have the opportunity to perform on stage, so it doesn’t matter. I’m still working hard to show you performances, but I feel sorry that there are no new songs or performances to present.”
EVERGLOW is a six-member multinational group that debuted in 2019. Wang Yiren, who is from China, appeared on Mnet’s “Produce 48” in 2018 but failed to make the debut lineup, ranking 28th.
EVERGLOW’s representative songs include “Bon Bon Chocolat,” “Adios,” and “DUN DUN.” Their most recent release is their fifth single, “ZOMBIE.”
The revelation has genuinely shocked fans all around the world who are wondering why the group has yet to receive any payment despite their massive popularity, especially overseas.
Regarding this, Korean media says inquiries were sent to the agency on the 19th, but no response has been given yet.
