EVNNE Shocks With Announcement Of Two Members’ Departure
K-pop group EVNNE has reorganised from a seven-member to a five-member group!
On the 8th of December, agency Jellyfish Entertainment stated through an official statement that they signed exclusive contracts with Keita, Park Hanbin, Lee Junghyun, Moon Junghyun, and Park Jihoo, and that EVNNE will continue activities starting next year.
On the other hand, Yoo Seungeon and Ji Yoonseo decided, after long discussions, to end their team contract and return to their original agency, YH Entertainment.
Jellyfish said, “Because they were two members who received a lot of love while active as part of EVEN from September 2023 to December 2025, we also feel great regret,” and added, “We respect the decision the two members made after deep consideration, and we sincerely support them so that each can continue wonderful activities in their own place.”
They continued, “We are sorry for causing concern to the fanswho must have been surprised by the sudden news, and we ask for much love and unwavering support for EVNNE’s remaining time as a seven-member group. Our company will continue to do our best for EVNNE’s activities.”
EVNNE is a project group formed from season 1 of Mnet audition program “Boys Planet,” which aired in 2023.
It consisted of Keita, Park Hanbin, Lee Jeonghyeon, Yoo Seungeon, Ji Yunseo, Mun Junghyun, and Park Jihoo, who appeared on the program, and released “TROUBLE,” “UGLY,” “How Can I Do,” etc.
