Famous Former SM idol Signs With G-Dragon’s Agency
SHINee’s member Taemin has moved to a new agency.
Galaxy Corporation announced on the 11th of March,“We have signed an exclusive contract with artist Taemin. We will fully support him so that his artistic capabilities can create synergy with our company’s cutting-edge technology.”
Galaxy Corporation is carrying out business that combines entertainment content with the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence and robots. The company explained this recruitment as “a strategic choice to create added value by combining artists’ intellectual property with digital technology.”
Taemin previously worked under SM Entertainment and Big Planet Made Entertainment before moving to Galaxy Corporation. Through this move, he will now be under the same agency as G Dragon, Song Kang Ho, and Kim Jong Kook.
Taemin debuted in 2008 with SHINee and led the K-pop wave with many hit songs such as “Replay,” “Ring Ding Dong,” and “View.” After making his solo debut in 2014, he released songs including “Danger,” “Move,” and “Want.”
He will also perform next month on April 11 and 18 at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held in Indio. Taemin will be the first Korean male solo singer to perform at this festival.
