The Shocking Case Of Famous Korean YouTuber Under Investigation For Sexual Crimes Against A Minor, Animal Abuse And Domestic Violence
YouTuber A, who has 200,000 subscribers, is reportedly under investigation for allegations of sexual crimes against a minor, animal abuse, and domestic violence.
On the 17th of November, according to Seoul Jongno Police Station and Incheon Michuhol Police Station, 35-year-old YouTuber A was booked and is being investigated for violations of the Sexual Violence Punishment Act (camera use for recording and distribution) and domestic violence, among other charges.
A is accused of assaulting his wife, B, on the face and jaw in a lodging facility early on the morning of the 13th. B reported the incident to the police with the help of a staff member at the facility.
A is also under investigation for allegedly filming parts of his wife’s body and posting them on his YouTube channel last month. Additionally, he has been accused of violating the Animal Protection Act after reportedly kicking his pet dog to death in August.
Furthermore, A was indicted without detention in June for statutory rape of a minor, with the first trial verdict scheduled for the 19th. He is accused of living with a 13-year-old viewer for approximately two years and engaging in sexual relations at least 34 times. Prosecutors have requested a nine-year prison sentence for A.
