Famous Korean Bodybuilder And YouTuber Suddenly Passes Away At 35
The sudden passing of Park Seung Hyun, a well-known bodybuilder and fitness YouTuber, has been announced. He was 35 years old.
On January 6, Park Seung Hyun’s older brother shared the news through the late YouTuber’s social media and YouTube community. “On January 5, 2025, at 3:51 PM, my younger brother Seung Hyun passed away due to health issues,” the post read.
He further stated, “Given the deep grief of our parents, we will not be receiving visitors at the memorial. We ask for your prayers and thoughts for the repose of his soul.” The announcement was accompanied by a photo of the deceased.
Born in 1990, Park Seung Hyun was a prominent figure in the fitness world, boasting a YouTube channel with 830,000 subscribers. Up until five days before his death, he had been actively posting videos, making his sudden passing a shock to his followers and the fitness community.
In the past, Park had publicly confessed to using and selling illegal substances, receiving a suspended indictment in November 2019. Following this, he led the “Steroid Disclosure Movement,” exposing the illegal drug use prevalent in the bodybuilding and fitness industry.

In October of last year, after a 10-month hiatus, he resumed his activities and shared a video detailing his struggles with depression. In the video, he revealed, “I’m taking my prescribed medication, but my cheerfulness is fading, and I feel like I’m becoming a shadow of myself. Many subscribers have left.”
Park Seung Hyun’s passing has left fans and colleagues mourning the loss of a figure who was both admired for his fitness achievements and respected for his honesty and advocacy within the industry.
