Famous Korean YouTuber With Over A Million Subscribers Caught Drunk Driving
A famous YouTuber with 1.2 million subscribers was caught by police for drunk driving.
According to TV Chosun on the 14th of February, the Seoul Suseo Police Station is investigating a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving).
Mr. A is accused of causing an accident while driving under the influence of alcohol at around 11:10 p.m. on the 23rd of last month in the parking lot of a lamb skewer restaurant in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
At the time, Mr. A reportedly collided with another vehicle while moving his car in the restaurant parking lot and additionally hit a parking lot wall while reversing. Fortunately, it was confirmed that there were no injuries.
Mr. A refused a breathalyzer test conducted by police at the scene and later underwent a blood test at a nearby hospital, and his blood alcohol concentration was reported to have exceeded the license cancellation standard.
Police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident and the amount of alcohol consumed before sending the case to prosecutors.
