Former Kpop Idol Turned BJ Joins New Agency, To Resume Activities + To Sue Garo Sero Institute

Former DIA member and singer Ahn Somyi has signed an exclusive contract with Modenberry Korea, marking a fresh start.

Recently, Modenberry Korea stated, “We have signed an exclusive contract with Somyi and will support her in various activities going forward.”

Ahn Somi joined DIA in 2017 and gained love for her pure visuals and stable vocal skills. After leaving DIA and terminating her contract with PocketDol Studio, she transitioned to being a BJ, expanding her activities through internet broadcasting, variety shows, and other fields while steadily building her career.

Along with the news of the exclusive contract, the agency also released a legal response notice regarding malicious comments and the spread of false information related to Ahn Somi.

The legal action pertains to rumors spread by Garo Sero Institute back in 2024. In that video, they claimed that Somyi was in a relationship with PocketDol Studio CEO Kim Kwang Soo. The agency says these rumors are false and they will take legal action.

They also warned that they’re monitoring sites and will take legal action against defamation and slander.
