The Former EXO Member Who Is Getting Married Very Soon

Former EXO member Tao (Huang Zitao) has completed his marriage registration with former SM Rookies actress Xu Yiyang and will be holding their wedding ceremony in October.

According to local media outlets such as Sina Entertainment recently, Tao revealed during the recording of a variety program that “I will be holding my wedding ceremony with Xu Yiyang this October.”

It was also reported that the two are planning a lavish wedding, which has raised interest in the guest list. In particular, attention is on whether the members of EXO, the group Tao was once part of, will attend. Especially since he is known to still be close friends with former EXO member Luhan, his attendance is considered highly likely.

Tao and Xu Yiyang have been surrounded by dating rumors since 2020. In July last year, Tao publicly acknowledged their relationship after four years of rumors, making headlines by going public with their romance.

In December of last year, they announced their marriage registration. Tao surprised fans by posting “Goal achieved” on his official account along with the announcement, sharing a photo of himself and Xu Yiyang holding their marriage certificate.

This past January, Tao posted several photos on his personal account with the caption “Happy new year,” showing him and Xu Yiyang sitting together in a car and singing together on stage.

Tao debuted as a member of EXO in 2012 but left the group in April 2015 and has since been active mainly in the Chinese-speaking region.

Xu Yiyang was first introduced in 2016 as a trainee under SM Entertainment’s SM Rookies and has since been active in China as a singer and actress.
