Former Kpop Idol Became A Flight Attendant, Shares Her Current Whereabouts

Gugudan’s member Hana shared an update on her current life as a flight attendant.

Recently, Hana spent time communicating with fans for the first time in a while. As she has recently been frequently sharing updates from abroad, one fan asked, “Unnie, did you immigrate?” However, Hana denied it, saying, “I have rabbit-like cats. That wouldn’t be possible.”

Another fan asked, “What kind of work are you doing abroad? Are you studying?” To this, Hana revealed an unexpected update, saying, “I’m working as a flight attendant. I go around zooming everywhere like Hong Gil Dong.”

When asked, “Do you have any mindset tips for when you have to do something you don’t want to do?” she responded, “People might say I’m immature, but I’m the type of person who tries to figure out a way to avoid things I don’t want to do, so this probably won’t be helpful,” but added, “If it’s something you absolutely, absolutely can’t let go of, then you have to face it head-on. Take it as an opportunity for growth and think, ‘When I finish this, I’ll be so proud of myself and I’ll look so cool. I’ll definitely learn something. And that will have a good influence on what I want to do later and make it easier.’ I just kind of get myself drunk on thoughts like that.”

Born in 1993, Hana debuted in 2016 as a member of the group gugudan. After the group disbanded in 2020, she transitioned into acting. Under the name Shin Yeon Seo, she appeared in web dramas such as “Today Again, Peaceful Used Market Country,” “Mister LEE,” and “Our D-Day,” with her last projects being some time in 2023.

And now she is a flight attendant, many are wondering what this means for her acting career moving forward.
