Former U-KISS Member Dongho Vows Lawsuit Against Ex-Wife After Her Shocking Allegations Against Him
Former U-KISS member Dongho (32, Shin Dongho)’s ex-wife, referred to as A, has continued her exposé.
On the 26th of February, Dongho former wife shared a series of strong allegations against him. A [the former wife] shared KakaoTalk messages allegedly exchanged with someone presumed to be Dongho, claiming she would “reveal the names of members who engaged in prostitution with Dongho.” Previously, she had accused him of cheating, failing to pay child support, and abuse. Dongho has announced he plans to file a criminal complaint, claiming these are false allegations.\
Dongho posted on Instagram, “I’m really sorry, but you were the one who first started posting on social media using our son’s account. So why are you now playing the victim and pretending you’re protecting the family?”
He continued, “I think you’re making a huge mistake. Who do you think we are that you can say you’ll do interviews and reveal everything? We’re just ordinary people, and even if I was a celebrity in the past, you’re now publicly exposing our private family matters that no one else is curious about.”
Dongho added, “Stop playing the victim ‘for the sake of our son.’ If you want to say something, submit a lawsuit and handle it with your lawyer. Don’t forget that this lawsuit and all of this mess started because of you—get a grip,” issuing a strong warning.
A posted several times to Instagram, then posted another lengthy statement addressing his rebuttal. She wrote, “Wow, he says it’s all false. You must be crazy. Fine, let’s go all the way. Please sue me. I’ll reveal the names of the members who engaged in prostitution with Dongho,” making shocking allegations.
She continued, “I’ve never received child support. I’ll properly meet reporters with my child and reveal the truth about him hitting our child and taking him out. I can verify and disclose my bank account and my mother’s account to prove no child support was paid. I don’t know what makes him so confident. I’m already proceeding with a lawsuit and there will be no leniency. I have a recorded phone call with Dongho’s mother. I’ll release the part where she apologized to me for abusing the child.”
Additionally, screenshots of a mobile messenger conversation she shared included a profile photo showing Dongho’s face and a user named “Dongblbi,” who allegedly said, “You just have to teach bar girls well with money,” and “You should give them three condoms.” A also claimed, “He said he would make our son engage in prostitution.”
A stated, “Visitation was something I allowed without receiving money. My friends have long known that I showed him our son without receiving a single penny from Shin Dongho, and that he didn’t pay child support. Now I realize how petty and malicious a man can become when he gets older, even though he’s never contributed financially.”
She addressed Dongho directly, saying, “Stop pretending to be nice. I endured 11 years with you, and now I’m finally letting it all out. How long did you think I would keep enduring while you treated me like that? Don’t be mistaken. I didn’t endure it because I liked you. I endured it because of our son, whom you’re now trying to drag down with you. You’re not even a parent. You’re truly a bad person. Aren’t you ashamed of lying and pretending to be kind in front of everyone? You made a living selling alcohol and exploiting bar women—have you lost all sense?”
She also said, “People say you have to hear both sides? It’s publicly known that I raised our child alone and that we divorced because he cheated. Why is he trying to harm the victim even more and drag his own son down with him? Is he really a father? It makes my blood boil. He’s someone who can’t be reformed. Don’t blur the issue by spreading false information. Don’t lie pretending it’s not true. I’ll reveal everything—even how he’s making money now, what he’s been saying about people in the entertainment industry, and what kind of family he comes from.”
Meanwhile, Dongho debuted with U-KISS in 2008 and was active in films and variety shows before announcing a temporary retirement from the entertainment industry in 2013 and leaving U-KISS. He married a non-celebrity woman one year older than him in November 2015 and had a son in May 2016. However, the couple divorced after three years due to personality differences.
