Member Of Popular Kpop Band Collapses On Stage During Performance, Agency Issues Health Update

FTISLAND member Choi Min-hwan collapsed during a performance.

Choi Min Hwan suddenly fell on stage during the “First Music Station” concert held on the afternoon of the 31st of January at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

The performance continued as scheduled, with a substitute performer stepping in to respond to the emergency situation.

Regarding the incident, the agency told Sports Seoul in a phone call, “During the performance, he received treatment from on-site medical staff due to temporary dehydration, and it appears there are no major health issues. After returning home, he is currently resting and focusing on recovery.”

FTISLAND debuted under FNC Entertainment in 2007 and has released numerous hit songs such as “Love Sick,” “Thunder,” “Until You Come Back,” “Love Love Love,” “I Hope,” “Severely,” “PRAY,” and “Wind.”

They have been active not only in Korea but also in the Japanese music market, even topping the Oricon charts.

Recently, they also renewed their contract with FNC Entertainment.
