G-Dragon Denies He’s Dating TWICE’s Sana, Agency Explains Why They Didn’t Deny It Sooner
G-Dragon, member of the Hallyu group BIGBANG and a solo artist, has belatedly addressed the recent dating rumors involving TWICE member Sana, explaining that he refrained from clarifying earlier to avoid spoiling a joint YouTube appearance.
G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation, stated on the 2nd of June, “We would like to correct misunderstandings regarding the recent spread of G-Dragon’s dating rumors.”
According to Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon filmed the YouTube web show “DEX and Sana’s Cold Interview” on April 14, the day after the final broadcast of MBC TV’s music variety show “Good Day.”
Later, on April 22, he attended the Coldplay concert held at Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province, where TWICE performed as special guests.
On that day, G-Dragon posted a photo on his social media showing only Sana on the jumbotron screen and tagged her personal account. This led to dating rumors between the two spreading online.
Regarding this, Galaxy Corporation explained, “As the filming had taken place shortly before that, the tag was simply a friendly gesture after the shoot.”
G-Dragon’s appearance on “Cold Interview” came about due to his acquaintance with broadcaster Dex. Sana was confirmed to appear the day before the recording.
The agency further stated, “The reason we did not clarify the dating rumors at first was because we were concerned it might spoil the ‘Cold Interview’ appearance.”
G-Dragon’s episode of “Cold Interview” is scheduled to be released on the 5th of June at 7 PM.
