Some Of The Biggest Names In The Industry Are Reportedly Scheduled To Make An Appearance On G-dragon’s Upcoming Show, Find Out Who’s Appearing
Fans are over the moon seeing the reported list of the guests scheduled to make an appearance on G-Dragon and PD Kim Tae Ho’s new variety show “GD and Friends.”
On the 13th of November, OSEN exclusively reported that aespa and SEVENTEEN BSS would be joining “GD and Friends” (working title). For G-Dragon’s new variety show, idol juniors are gathering together in full force.
And another report also alleges that DAY6 are also set to make an appearance on the show too.
“GD and Friends” is a new variety program directed by PD Kim Tae Ho, who has had a connection with BIGBANG leader G-Dragon since the “Infinite Challenge” days. While the detailed content and title of the program remain shrouded in secrecy, it is also known under the working title “Good Day” apart from “GD and Friends.”
In particular, “GD and Friends” boasts a splendid casting lineup. First, comedian Jung Hyung Don’s participation in filming was exclusively reported by OSEN. It was also revealed that comedian Jo Se Ho, whom G-Dragon even attended the wedding of, is positively considering appearing.
Additionally, actors born in 1988, the same year as G-Dragon—Kim Soo Hyun, Im Si Wan, and Jung Hae In—as well as ZE:A’s Hwang Kwang Hee, have raised expectations with their potential appearances. On top of that, actors Kim Go Eun and Hwang Jung Min’s participation has added to the surprise.
The lineup from G-Dragon’s main field, the music industry, is also impressive. BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung are set to support G-Dragon’s new variety show, while girl group aespa and SEVENTEEN unit BSS will make appearances as well.
Moreover, “GD and Friends” is expected to mark PD Kim Tae Ho’s return to his former workplace, MBC, nearly three years after resigning in December 2021. Regarding this, an MBC representative told OSEN, “The scheduling of ‘GD and Friends’ is currently under positive consideration.”
However, PD Kim Tae Ho cautiously stated, “It is true that the first filming was conducted with Jung Hyung Don. As for the official details or who will assist, more time is needed before they can be revealed.”
“GD and Friends” is being discussed for MBC programming in the first half of 2025.
