Famous Veteran Artist G-Dragon Is Suing Malicious Commenters For The 1st Time In His 19 Year Career
G-Dragon‘s agency, Galaxy Corporation, has announced legal action against the spread of malicious rumors and defamatory posts about the artist.
On April 3, the agency released an official statement saying, “Recently, groundless false information and malicious posts targeting our artist have been indiscriminately spreading through online communities and social media. This is not just a matter of personal opinion but a serious issue that severely damages the artist’s reputation and misleads both fans and the public with false information.”
The agency emphasized, “We take these malicious actions very seriously and will proceed with strong legal measures. Spreading false information, defamation, slander, and invasion of privacy are clear violations of the law and can be subject to legal punishment under the Information and Communications Network Act and the Criminal Act.”
Galaxy Corporation further stated that they would take strict legal action without any leniency or settlements. “We are carefully reviewing all malicious posts and will take the necessary legal steps. There will be no negotiations or leniency for those who spread false rumors and engage in defamation. We will continue to monitor and respond thoroughly to protect our artist’s rights and interests.”
Meanwhile, G-Dragon recently held his “G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Ubermensch]” concert at Goyang Sports Complex on March 29–30. This marks his first solo concert in about eight years since 2017, drawing a total of 60,000 attendees over two days.
