Famous Girl Group Surprises With Hard Launch Of New Name Change
The famous girl group (G)I-DLE has slightly changed their name, to the surprise of fans!
On May 2 at midnight KST, The group surprised fans by announcing their plans for new releases this month. The group will not release one, but two mini-albums celebrating their 7th debut anniversary.
The first, a special mini album, is set to drop on May 2 at 6 p.m. KST. The second, their eighth mini album, will be released on May 19 at 6 p.m. KST.
When fans took a look at the group’s social accounts [Instagram, YouTube, and more], they noticed the name has changed from (G)I-DLE to i-dle.
In the video teaser, the group is seen hosting a funeral for the letter G.
Since May 2 marks the group’s 7th anniversary, many fans are excited about what kind of content will soon come from the group
