KARA’s member and actress Park Gyuri has sustained fractures to her cheekbone and eye socket causing deep worry among fans.

On the 13^th of July, Park Gyuri’s agency, Big Boss Entertainment, shared news of her injury through their official accounts in an official statement. Due to her injury, she has to undergo surgery and will need time to recover, thus, she will suspend her activities for the time being.

“We would like to inform you about actress Park Gyuri.
Recently, she suffered fractures to her cheekbone and eye socket during her personal schedule and visited the hospital for a detailed examination. Considering the location of her injuries, surgery is necessary, and it will take approximately 4-5 weeks from the surgery to full recovery, according to medical professionals.
After careful discussion, the actress and the company have decided to avoid strenuous activities during the recovery period and focus on her healing.
As such, all scheduled activities for the month of July have been canceled.
Big Boss Entertainment promises to prioritize the actress’s health and safety and do our best to ensure a swift recovery.
