Popular Idol Reveals She’s Removing All Of Her Tattoos, Here Is Why
HyunA has surprised fans by revealing that she’s removing her iconic tattoos!
On the 14th of May, a video featuring HyunA as a guest was released on the YouTube channel “Yong Jin’s YouTube – Yongtaro.”
In the video, HyunA said, “It’s been about a year since I started removing my tattoos,” and added, “I had a lot all over my body, and it takes a long time to remove them.”
When Lee Yong Jin asked why, HyunA confessed, “My mom said, ‘How about spending some time with a clean body just once? You’ve already done everything you wanted to do.’”
HyunA continued, “When I went to get them removed, it hurt so much. So after about four sessions, I’ve taken a break for now.”
Lee Yong Jin responded, “I also got some removed from my leg about ten times. A moment of regret came. Since I have a child, when they asked, ‘Dad, what’s this?’ I replied, ‘Warriors are born with these,’ but that doesn’t work anymore,” causing laughter.
When Lee Yong Jin asked, “How’s married life?” HyunA replied, “It’s really great. I used to suffer from insomnia before marriage, but now I sleep well. Just having him in the same space gives me a sense of stability.”
She added, “We’ve never fought, and we shouldn’t. If we do, (Yong Junhyung) will win. He takes the lead and shows a good example, so I have nothing to say. He doesn’t try to change me but accepts me as I am,” showing her happiness.
HyunA continued, “I debuted when I was young, so I didn’t even know how to do bank-related tasks, but after getting married, I issued my first family register copy. Even the little things are enjoyable. There’s fun in wearing pajamas out to buy a can of beer.”
Later, HyunA said, “I recently found a new hobby—watching dramas. I can’t believe I only started now.”
When Lee Yong Jin asked, “What kind of style is your husband? Is he like a stern Mr. Hak style?” HyunA responded, “He’s very attentive and takes care of me well—he’s more of a gentle Gwan-shik type [referencing Park BO Gum’s character in When life gives you tangerines],” expressing her affection for her husband Yong Junhyung.
HyunA debuted in 2007 with Wonder Girls but left the group the same year and later joined 4Minute. Since 2010, she has also promoted as a solo artist and received great love with hit songs like “Bubble Pop,” and “Red.”
She married Yong Junhyung, formerly of BEAST (now Highlight), in October last year.
