iKON’s Junhoe to Enlist for Military Service in August

iKON member Junhoe will enlist for active-duty military service next month.

His agency, 143 Entertainment, announced via official social media on July 28, “Junhoe will enter a training camp on August 11 to fulfill his active duty military service.”

The agency also said no separate official event will be held on the day he enters. “Since the day of entering basic training is shared with many other service members and their families, we won’t be holding a separate event, in order to prevent any safety incidents,” the agency said, asking for fans’ understanding.

Junhoe debuted as a member of iKON in 2015 and became widely loved for hit songs including “Love Scenario” and “Rhythm Ta.” He has since expanded beyond music into acting, building his filmography with dramas such as “True to Love” and “Twinkling Watermelon.”
