INFINITE’s Kim Sungkyu’s Older Sister Passes Away
Kim Sungkyu of the group INFINITE has lost his older sister.
His agency announced the sad news on the 22nd of February via an official statement to their SNS accounts. They wrote, “We have very heartbreaking and sorrowful news to share. Sungkyu’s older sister passed away this morning while battling illness.”
Due to the tragic news, Sungkyu will not be attending schedules for the time being including the group’s concert in Kuala Lumpur today.

Kim Sungkyu’s older sister passed away today (22nd) while battling illness.
According to the wishes of the bereaved family, the funeral will be held quietly and privately with only family and close friends present.
We ask for comfort and consideration so that Kim Sungkyu and his family can share their time of mourning together.
Our agency extends its deep condolences on the passing of the deceased and sincerely wishes for the repose of their soul.
