ITZY’s Ryujin Had to Issue an Apology for Simply Adjusting Her Shorts, Vidal clip Gains Massive Attention
A famous K-pop idol is apologizing to fans — for literally just adjusting her clothes.
A resurfaced fancam of ITZY’s Ryujin performing “THAT’S A NO NO” is drawing renewed attention.

At the concert, ITZY treated fans to “GOLD,” “Wild Wild West,” “Mafia In The Morning,” and “THAT’S A NO NO.” The group closed out the night with an encore performance of “THAT’S A NO NO,” driving home just how much the track’s popularity has grown.
Amid the renewed attention, a post titled “I can’t stop noticing ITZY Ryujin’s low-rise shorts” went up on an online community. The post featured a fancam from the “THAT’S A NO NO” stage at the Manila concert on the 11th, in which Ryujin performed in a cropped T-shirt paired with low-rise shorts. As the choreography grew more intense, Ryujin appeared to repeatedly adjust the bottoms, seemingly uncomfortable.
Ryujin showed off her signature sharp choreography and clean lines throughout the performance, and her slim figure, small face, and defined features drew admiration from viewers. Her flawless dance lines, soft waves, and powerful movements captivated fans’ attention.
However, as she danced, Ryujin appeared visibly uncomfortable with the low-rise shorts, and after the performance ended, she was seen briefly pulling at the waistband and adjusting her clothing with her hand, surprising some viewers. Though only caught on fancam, fans reacted with comments like “She must have been so uncomfortable,” “She’s so down-to-earth,” “She really must have been uncomfortable,” “Ryujin is so pretty,” “She would have shown 200% of her skills in a different outfit,” and “The styling was a letdown.”
After the video sparked discussion, Ryujin addressed it during a livestream with fans, apologizing: “The jumpsuit rode up so much that it hurt. I pulled at it without really thinking, but watching the clip back later, I get why it looked the way it did. My hand did go in there quite a bit. I’m sorry to the fans for doing that onstage. I won’t put my hands in my pants onstage again.”
