IU Revealed To Have Participated In Composing The Title Track Of Beloved Rising Girl Group
IU has lent her support to the comeback of the group Billlie.
According to their agency Mystic Story, “IU participated in the composition and lyrics for Billlie’s mini 5th album appendix: Of All We Have Lost. The title track ‘Memory Candy’ features her involvement. We hope you look forward to and show interest in the music and performance, which has been enhanced by this collaboration between the two artists.”
Since their debut, Billlie has woven a mysterious story across their albums, beginning with “The 11th day when purple rain fell, Billlie Love disappeared.” Their solid storytelling and unique performances, which complement their outstanding musicality, have gained them widespread love both domestically and internationally, earning them the title of a “global trendsetter.”
With this special collaboration with IU, Billlie is expected to showcase a different charm from their previous musical style. Notably, during IU’s encore concert 2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR CONCERT ENCORE: THE WINNING at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 21-22, she displayed photos of fellow female artists she respects and draws inspiration from, with Billlie among those featured. This further heightened excitement for the synergy the two acts will bring with Memory Candy.
