Album Design Of Highly Anticipated Upcoming Girl Group Met With Backlash For Resembling NewJeans’ Design, Agency Apologizes
The highly anticipated girl group Izna will be changing the design of their debut album after being met with backlash for the design of their upcoming album.
Earlier in the day, Izna’s debut album “N/a” cover was revealed. However, some noticed similarities between close-up shots of the members’ faces and the side design with the cover of NewJeans’ album “OMG.” In response, Izna’s team decided to alter the design and change it completely.
On the 14th of November, agency WAKEONE announced through Izna’s official account, “We are aware of the design-related issues that have been raised and have decided to completely change the design.”
Izna is a girl group formed through Mnet’s survival program I-LAND 2. They will release their first mini-album N/a on the 25th, officially beginning their debut activities.

We would like to provide information regarding the Izna Ver. of Izna’s album, which was revealed today.
We are aware of the design-related issues that have been raised, and we have decided to completely change the design.
We will be more vigilant to ensure that similar issues do not occur in the future.
