J.Y Park Steps Down From Position As Internal Director In JYP
Park Jin Young, the head of JYP Entertainment, will step down from his position as an internal director.
JYP Entertainment announced on the afternoon of the 10th of March, “Park Jin Young will not undergo the procedure for reappointment as an internal director at the shareholders’ meeting to be held on March 26.”
They added that Park Jin Young plans to focus on his creative activities as an artist, nurturing junior artists, and new external work for the K-pop industry.
Park Jin Young has been actively working as a singer, composer, and producer since his debut in the music industry in 1994. Last September, he was appointed as the co-chair of the Popular Culture Exchange Committee directly under the President.
