G-Dragon and Jennie made an appearance at the 2024 2NE1 Concert: Welcome Back in Seoul, attracting attention as it was the first time they were spotted in the same space since their dating rumors from three years ago.

On October 6, the concert was held at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. The event marked 2NE1’s first concert in 10 years, drawing both veteran and new stars from YG Entertainment, including YG’s head producer Yang Hyun Suk, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and Daesung, Se7en, Gummy, WINNER’s Song Min Ho, Kim Jin Woo, Lee Seung Hoon, iKON’s Donghyuk, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, and BABYMONSTER members.

The sight of G-Dragon and Jennie attending the concert was particularly notable. The two were involved in dating rumors back in 2021, when they were captured by media reports suggesting they had been dating for a year. However, neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, with YG Entertainment stating at the time that they couldn’t comment on artists’ personal lives.

Although they continued to be active within YG Entertainment, the two had never been spotted together publicly until now. G-Dragon has since signed with a new agency, while Jennie is pursuing her career under her own label.

At the concert, G-Dragon wore a leather jacket and orange sunglasses, sitting beside Yang Hyun Suk while enjoying the performance. Jennie, on the other hand, was dressed in a checkered mini skirt and an oversized shirt, sporting a 2NE1 cap and holding a lightstick. She attended the concert with her close friend, actress Yang Hye Ji. Although G-Dragon later joined other YG artists for a group photo, Jennie was notably absent from the picture.

The 2024 2NE1 Concert marked the group’s first full reunion in over a decade, as well as their 15th debut anniversary. The three-day event was a huge success, selling out 12,000 tickets in a flash due to high demand. The members, visibly emotional, expressed their gratitude to fans, stating, “It feels like a dream to gather here for our 15th anniversary at the same venue where we held our first concert. Our lives have always been with our fans, and we are so thankful for your constant support.”
