Beloved 40-Year-Old Korean Singer Boldly Admits To Getting Several Plastic Surgeries

Beloved singer Jo Jazz has admitted to getting several plastic surgeries done on TV!

On the July 8th broadcast of the SBS variety program “Dolsing Fourmen”, under the theme “The Immortal Lovebirds”, actor Jung Suk Yong, Kang Ye Won, comedian Jung Juri, and singer Jo Jazz appeared and shared their stories.

Singer Jo Jazz surprised everyone by confessing to having had plastic surgery on his double eyelids, nose, and even his teeth.

Following the shocking confession, the cast members began asking questions. Lee Sang Min asked, “Did you get laminates (a cosmetic dental procedure)?” Jung Juri, examining Jo Jazz’s face, commented, “Your teeth are so even,” while Im Won Hee asked, “Did you get double eyelid surgery? When did you do it?”

Jo Jazz explained, “In high school, I broke my nose while playing soccer and went to a plastic surgery clinic. I went with my mother, who is very forward-thinking—she had great foresight,” revealing that he underwent plastic surgery at his mother’s suggestion.

He continued, “My mom tightly held my hand and said, ‘I don’t think this face has any competitive edge.’ Usually, moms don’t recommend plastic surgery, but she was a very open-minded person. She said she’d give me a lot of allowance, so I should give it a try.“

Jo Jazz, who went to an all-boys middle and high school, said, “It could’ve been embarrassing, right? I was sure people would say, ‘Why do you look like that even after surgery?’ I was really cautious. But once I did it, I actually liked the result.”

When everyone praised how natural it looked, Jo Jazz said, “As I gained weight, the features got pushed inward and looked even more natural.”

Jo Jazz debuted in 2025 with the digital single “Don’t You Know?”. Just three months after his debut, he appeared on the KBS2 variety show “Immortal Songs”, during the Yoon Myung Sun special, and sang Lee Seung Chul’s “Western Sky”, ultimately taking the final win.
