JYP Entertainment To Launch Its 1st Latin Group, Fans Debate Whether It’s The Right Move
JYP Entertainment is set to debut its own group in Latin America!
On July 18, the entertainment agency announced their plans to launch their subsidiary in the Latin American music market in the third quarter of 2024. They plan on expanding to the new region and reach local fans.
Not only that, JYP is also aiming to launch its 1st ever girl group in Latin America through the audition program LatinAmerica2Korea (L2K). The group will follow the kpop system in collaboration with Universal Music Latino, a Latin label under Universal Music Group.
