Agency Of Famous Kpop Idol Who Revealed He’s A Victim Of Stalking Is Taking Strong Legal Action
2PM member Nichkhun revealed that he was a victim of stalking, and his agency JYP Entertainment has announced strong legal action.
On the 18th of March, JYP stated in an official statement, “We have recently confirmed stalking-like behavior that invades the privacy and threatens the safety of our 2PM members. We define this as a serious issue that harms the artist’s physical and mental well-being.”
They added that they have already secured evidence and are proceeding with legal measures, warning that any similar actions in the future will be met with additional legal action without leniency.
The agency emphasized that persistent following, tracking movements, and sharing such information are clear criminal acts, and they will respond strictly to any behavior that violates their artists’ rights and safety.
Previously, Nichkhun shared his experience on social media, saying that while taking a walk near his home, he was followed by someone claiming to be a fan. He explained that the person chased him for about 30 minutes while shouting and cursing in Chinese, forcing him to go to a nearby police station for safety.
He added that he even returned home in a police car out of concern the person might still be waiting outside, and strongly warned, “Don’t think I can’t do anything. This is an invasion of my privacy, and if you come back, you’ll see what happens.”
