Alleged ‘Fans’ Run Campaign Asking Dowoon To Withdraw From DAY6, JYP Is Taking Legal Action, How Did This Start?

JYP has officially responded to some requests for Dowoon’s withdrawal from DAY6!

On December 9, JYP Entertainment, the agency representing DAY6, issued a statement addressing false rumors circulating about member Dowoon.

This development follows an incident on December 3, where Dowoon shared a photo of himself in military attire while practicing drums on his social media. The post drew criticism from some fans amidst ongoing political turmoil following President Yoon Suk-yeol’s declaration and subsequent withdrawal of martial law.

Thus, some ‘fans’ began asking the agency to withdraw the member from the group leading to a lot of confusion among the many who had no idea what happened.

DAY6 is set to hold a solo concert, “The Present,” on December 20 and 21 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, marking the first time a domestic band will perform at the venue.
